Senior Mechanical Engineer - Data Center

Job Overview:
Horizon is working with a Global Data Center provider in Hong Kong who is looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer where you will play a key role in optimizing system performance , enhancing efficiency, and ensuring seamless operations in a mission-critical environment (Data Centre).

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze data on system performance to spot and prevent possible issues.

• Manage capacity for essential components to improve efficiency and Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE).

• Lead change management to avoid interruptions during operational changes.

• Create and maintain standard procedures for regular and emergency operations to keep sites running smoothly.

• Restore operations after incidents, identify root causes, and assist with yearly audits for compliance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related field.

• At least 5 years of relevant experience, including 3+ years in mission-critical facilities.

• Fluent in English and Cantonese.

• Preferred certifications: Data Center Cooling Professional (DC Dynamics).

• Knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 50001 standards is a plus.
