Peptide Scientist

Role Description:

Ø This is a full-time, on-site position for a Peptide Scientist at AILSI in Hong Kong SAR.

Ø The role involves applying chemical and biological techniques to support the drug discovery process.

Ø The ideal candidate will have a strong background in peptide synthesis and characterization.

Ø The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to advance research projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Ø Design and synthesize peptides using solid-phase and liquid-phase synthesis techniques.

Ø Characterize peptide structure and purity using mass spectrometry, HPLC, and NMR.

Ø Conduct biological assays to evaluate peptide activity and efficacy.

Ø Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate peptide research into broader projects.

Ø Analyze experimental data and interpret results to guide ongoing research.

Ø Prepare reports and publish findings in scientific journals.

Ø Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

Ø Ph.D. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field.

Ø Proven experience in peptide synthesis and characterization.

Ø Strong analytical skills and proficiency in relevant laboratory techniques.

Ø Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Ø Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
