We’re looking for a Backend Developer (Python) who can build scalable, cloud native backend services on AWS, with occasional contributions to legacy or auxiliary components written in PHP. You’ll work across API development, data workflows, and containerized deployments, ensuring our systems remain fast, reliable, and maintainable.
Key Responsibilities - Develop and maintain backend services using Python and FastAPI - Design, implement, and optimize RESTful APIs for performance, scalability, and security - Collaborate with data teams to integrate data science workflows, including NumPy, pandas DataFrames, scikit‑learn models, and EDA pipelines - Containerize and deploy applications using Docker within AWS environments - EC2, ECS, RDS (MySQL), S3, Lambda, CloudWatch - Maintain and enhance small PHP based components or legacy modules when needed
Required Skills & Qualifications Core Technical Skills - Strong proficiency in Python for backend development - Hands on experience with FastAPI - Solid understanding of MySQL and SQL query - Experience with data science tools: - NumPy - pandas - scikit-learn - EDA techniques - Experience with Docker for development and deployment - Working knowledge of AWS services for backend and data workloads - Basic experience with PHP
