2. Job Purpose
The Programme Manager is responsible for leading the planning, coordination, and execution of AISL Outdoor programmes. This role ensures the successful delivery of high-quality educational experiences that prioritise participant safety, engagement, and learning outcomes. The Programme Manager oversees programme design, manages operational and financial aspects, and drives continuous improvement through feedback and innovation.
3. Responsibilities and Competencies
Responsibilities
Programme Planning and Development
· Design and develop education programmes aligned with AISL Outdoor’s mission and objectives.
· Incorporate best practices and emerging trends in camp education to enhance programme quality.
· Collaborate with the Director to set strategic goals and ensure alignment with organisational priorities.
Programme Delivery and Oversight
· Oversee end-to-end programme execution, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to timelines.
· Monitor programme activities and resolve issues promptly to maintain high standards of delivery.
· Ensure compliance with safety protocols and risk management procedures.
Operational and Financial Management
· Manage programme budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and financial accountability.
· Liaise with vendors, partners, and service providers to secure resources and services.
· Maintain accurate documentation for programme planning, delivery, and evaluation.
Stakeholder Engagement
· Communicate effectively with parents, participants, and internal teams to ensure clarity and satisfaction.
· Provide leadership and guidance to Programme Officers and support staff.
· Foster strong relationships with external partners to enhance programme offerings.
Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement
· Collect and analyse feedback from participants, parents, and staff to identify areas for improvement.
· Implement changes to enhance programme effectiveness and participant experience.
· Prepare post-programme reports and contribute to strategic reviews.
Ad-hoc Responsibilities
· Undertake additional tasks and projects as assigned by the Director to support organisational needs.
4. Required Qualifications and Experience
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Outdoor Education, Environmental Science, Recreation Management, or a related field.
Knowledge
· Expertise in programme development, logistics, and operational management.
· Familiarity with safety standards and risk management in camp education.
Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in camp education programme management or a similar leadership role.
Competencies
Strong leadership and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging diverse stakeholders.
Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in English, Mandarin and Cantonese is essential.
Proficiency in MS Office and experience with programme management tools.
