Job overview
As a technical backbone of large enterprise core systems, you will be responsible for system daily operation (Daily Operation), incident management (Incident Management), and application enhancement (Application Enhancement) in line with business requirements. You will serve as a key bridge between technical teams and Business Owners (business stakeholders), leading system analysis, architecture planning, and complex problem detection and resolution.
Core responsibilities
• Requirements and communication management:
• Serve as the main liaison with business departments for communication, responsible for clarifying business requirements and handling problem escalation (Escalation).
• System diagnosis and integration:
• Perform impact analysis (Impact Analysis), system diagnosis and root cause investigation (Root Cause Investigation) for complex system events.
• Coordinate with Infrastructure (infrastructure) and Database (database) teams to perform system integration and troubleshooting (troubleshooting).
• Technical guidance and documentation:
• Provide technical guidance and supervision to programmers on system enhancements and bug fixes (error repairs).
• Write and maintain technical documentation, system specifications, and operating instructions (Standard Operating Procedures).
• Project and architecture planning:
• Plan and promote the development of an internal control environment (DEV Environment), implement a secure cross-platform data synchronization process.
• Lead the evaluation and response to the upgrade and replacement of system components that are about to be discontinued/laid off (End-of-Life, EOL) (such as old Java dependencies, Application Server, BI reporting tools, etc.) to reduce security and operational risks.
Job Requirements
• Language skills: Good Cantonese communication skills; excellent English reading and writing abilities (used for writing emails and documents).
• Work experience: More than 6 years of IT industry experience, with at least 4 years focused on Java development.
• Technical background: Have practical experience in IT and web application development, especially in J2EE and Red Hat JBoss environment.
• Database and tools: Familiar with enterprise-level relational databases (such as Oracle) and related integration operations; those with traditional enterprise reporting services (such as IBM Cognos BI) experience are preferred.
• Professional skills:
• Have solid skills in system analysis and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Familiar with enterprise-level ticketing system (Ticketing System) and structured event management process.
• Have technical debt management experience, able to handle and upgrade outdated framework dependencies (such as Apache Struts 2, Log4j 1.x, etc.).

• Regular days: 07:30 - 21:00
• Saturday: 07:30 - 18:00
• Rest time: Sunday and public holidays (Bank Holidays)
