Bank teller Customer Service Officer

Job Responsibilities:

• Accurate and efficient handling of various daily transactions at the counter, including cash deposits and withdrawals, local and cross-border transfers, check cashing, payment of bills, etc. retail banking services.

• Daily cash drawer settlement before and after business hours, strictly verify the authenticity of banknotes, the validity of checks and the integrity of transaction vouchers, and maintain bookkeeping and reality.

• Assist daily operations of the branch, including file archiving, customer appointment coordination, self-service equipment abnormality reporting and cross-departmental communication and collaboration.

• Treat customers with professionalism, friendliness, and empathy, properly handle inquiries, complaints, and special cases, and enhance customer satisfaction and brand trust.

Requirements:

• Holding a Hong Kong secondary school diploma (DSE) or equivalent academic qualifications, with basic financial and mathematical concepts.

• Having 6 to 12 months of bank teller, financial institution front-line service or customer service related work experience.

• Fluent in Cantonese, able to communicate in English for daily business; those who reach the basic level of Mandarin conversation are given priority.

• Familiar with the basic requirements of bank supervision, attach importance to compliance awareness and professional ethics, and be able to maintain attention, stability and sense of responsibility in a high-flow environment.

• Must be a permanent resident of Hong Kong.
