BIM building software technical support engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing technical support to customers in Hong Kong region for BIM architectural software (covering architecture, structure, mechanical and electrical engineering, etc. all professional) including on-site and remote teaching, systematization of training course design and implementation, common problem diagnosis and solution.

• Assist customers in building, checking, coordinating and optimizing BIM models, with a special focus on mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) professional model integration and conflict detection, supporting the whole life cycle of BIM application.

• According to the customer's actual engineering needs, customize the development of technical solutions, such as parametric family library construction, standardization of work processes, configuration and import support of collaborative platforms (such as Revit Server, BIM 360).

• Participate in local BIM promotion activities, including technical seminars, customer exchange meetings and industry exhibition support, to enhance the professional influence and user stickiness of our company's products in the Hong Kong and Macao regions.

Work requirements

• Holding a master's degree in civil engineering or building services engineering, with 5 to 10 years of practical experience in building information modeling (BIM), familiar with Hong Kong building codes and common engineering processes, with mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) professional background is particularly good.

• Proficient in Cantonese, can fluently explain technical details and communicate with customers in Cantonese; have good English listening, speaking, reading and writing abilities, be able to independently read international software technical documents and host bilingual training; basic communication skills in Mandarin are an added bonus.

• Proficient in mainstream BIM tools (such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, Dynamo, AutoCAD MEP), with modeling refinement, collaborative management, and cross-platform data exchange (IFC, COBie) implementation experience.

• Have excellent expression and teaching skills, those who have teaching experience to engineers, consulting companies and contractors are preferred; able to independently plan training outlines, prepare teaching materials and effectively communicate complex technical concepts.

• Must be a permanent resident of Hong Kong, meet the qualifications for legal full-time employment in Hong Kong; able to adapt to the office work mode, working hours from Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, and the work place is located in Tsim Sha Tsui, Canton Road, Harbour City.

Benefits

• Monthly salary range is from HKD35,000 to 40,000, based on ability and experience evaluation.
