Senior Systems Integration Engineer (Hardware & AI)

Job Description:

We’re looking for a Senior Engineer to lead the development of smart hardware products that turn physical signals (like vibrations or optical data) into useful insights using real-time AI. You’ll design and integrate these technologies into reliable, production-ready systems.

• Design and integrate FPGA and fiber optic hardware into complete, market-ready systems.

• Deploy and optimize real-time machine learning models for analyzing images, video, or vibration data.

• Build data acquisition and control systems using Python and LabVIEW for fast prototyping and testing.

• Create agentic AI workflows to automate decisions and use rapid "vibe coding" to speed up development.

• Analyze complex spectral data to extract insights such as classifications, estimates, or anomaly detection.

• Convert lab prototypes into robust products that work reliably in real-world conditions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or related field.

• Strong proficiency in Python and LabVIEW.

• Hands-on experience with FPGA design and basic photonics/fiber optics.

• Proven experience applying machine learning to image, video, or high-bandwidth sensor data.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Distributed Acoustic Sensing (DAS) or similar fiber optic sensing technologies.

• Background in building autonomous systems with agentic AI frameworks.

• Strong knowledge of signal processing, spectral analysis, and vibration monitoring.
