•Compliance control: Strictly follow the Hong Kong Insurance Authority (IA) and the Insurance Ordinance and other relevant regulations, conduct compliance supervision, risk identification and control on the company's insurance brokerage business process (long-term insurance, general insurance, investment-linked life insurance, etc.), timely discover business compliance loopholes and develop rectification plans to avoid the company facing regulatory penalties.
•System building: Responsible for building and improving the company's compliance management system, formulating compliance management rules, procedures and training plans, conducting internal compliance training, enhancing the compliance awareness of all employees, and standardizing the business behavior of employees.
•Document review: Independently review customer agreements, product promotion materials, business contracts and other related documents to ensure that all business documents comply with regulatory requirements and company compliance requirements, and to prevent operational risks and compliance risks.
•Team management: Lead the compliance team in conducting their work, be responsible for team member training, work allocation and performance control, and promote the efficient implementation of compliance work; coordinate cross-departmental compliance-related matters, and handle customer complaints and compliance disputes properly.
•Compliance filing: Assist the company in completing the relevant application and review work of the Insurance Regulatory Commission, and fulfill the statutory duties of the RO; if you resign, you need to cooperate with the completion of the new RO appointment and supervision and acceptance, ensuring compliance with the Insurance Regulatory Commission's requirement of appointing a new RO within 3 months.
• New regulations: Continuously monitor the latest Hong Kong insurance industry supervision regulations and industry dynamics, complete annual anti-money laundering (AML), anti-terrorist financing (CFT) and other compliance training, and ensure that our own and our team's compliance knowledge keeps pace with the times.
(1) Basic conditions
• Identity: Hold a Hong Kong permanent resident ID card or a valid Hong Kong work visa (IANG, Talent, Talent, Professional Talent, etc., with no employment restrictions), be able to work full-time in Hong Kong, and pass the background check by the Hong Kong Insurance Authority.
•Ethics: No criminal record (especially financial fraud, corruption, money laundering, etc.), no bankruptcy without reorganization, no major debt default record, no industry discipline within the past 5 years for violating the Insurance Ordinance or other relevant regulations, upholding high integrity and professional ethics, and no record of conflicts of interest.
•Employment restrictions: Must be a full-time director or employee of the company, and cannot hold other core positions in other companies (such as CEO, other institutional ROs), ensuring full commitment to the position.
•Education: Hold a bachelor's degree or above from a recognized university or higher education institution, with preference for finance, law, accounting, insurance and other related fields; overseas qualifications must be accompanied by official notarization documents.
• Training: Have completed annual anti-money laundering (AML), counter-terrorism financing (CFT) related training and obtained a qualified certificate, and familiar with the Hong Kong Insurance Regulatory Authority's Guideline 23] and other relevant regulatory guidelines.
(Three) Work experience
• Industry experience: At least 5 years of work experience in the Hong Kong insurance industry or a related financial field, with at least 2 years of management experience (compliance management, team supervision, business control, etc.).
• Priority experience: those with experience in RO of Hong Kong insurance brokerage companies, large-scale insurance institution compliance management experience, or holding a relevant license from the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC), with cross-border insurance business compliance management experience, are preferred.
