Assistant HR Manager / HR Manager (Learning & Development)
Our client is a renowned and leading chain fitness center in Hong Kong. Dedicated to promoting health, wellness, and an active lifestyle across multiple state-of-the-art club locations, they are currently looking to hire an Assistant HR Manager / HR Manager specializing in Learning & Development to join their company.
You will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's training culture. You will be responsible for designing and delivering impactful training programs to upskill frontline club teams, personal trainers, and corporate employees, ensuring consistent service standards and a strong employee experience.
Responsibilities
Partner with business leaders to identify training needs and translate them into practical learning plans and priorities.
Design, develop, and deliver training programs (e.g., onboarding, customer service, leadership, coaching capability, sales/service excellence, compliance basics).
Manage end-to-end onboarding and probation support by ensuring new joiners receive the right training roadmap and tools to succeed.
Coordinate training logistics and schedules across multiple club locations; ensure smooth execution and high attendance.
Create training materials such as training decks, trainer guides, role-play scripts, and simple assessment tools.
Evaluate training effectiveness via feedback, observation, and basic performance indicators; continuously improve course content and delivery.
Support internal communication and engagement initiatives (e.g., recognition programs, staff events, culture-building activities).
Handle other HR tasks/projects as assigned to support overall people operations.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of relevant HR experience with solid exposure in Learning & Development / Training.
Hands-on experience in delivering training for frontline service teams (retail / hospitality / fitness / service industry exposure is an advantage).
Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills; confident in communicating with staff across all levels.
Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related disciplines is highly preferred (but not a must).
What We Offer
Monthly salary: HKD 25,000 – 35,000 (depending on experience).
Annual salary review.
