Job Description

Financial advisor
Job Responsibilities

Provide professional financial planning and investment advice to customers, covering savings, insurance, retirement planning, education funds, and asset allocation.
In-depth understanding of customers’ financial situation, risk tolerance, and investment goals, tailoring suitable investment solutions.
Introduce and sell recognized financial products, including unit trust funds, MPF plans, life and medical insurance, structured investment products, etc.
Regularly follow up on customer account performance and life situation changes, adjust financial planning strategies in a timely manner, and ensure that the solution remains closely aligned with actual needs.
Participate in community promotion, lectures and customer consultation activities, enhance public financial awareness, and expand potential customer networks.

Work requirements

Have a license issued by the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) for Class 1 (Securities Trading) and/or Class 4 (Providing Advice on Securities), or have registered for relevant exams and obtained qualifications within six months of employment.
Bachelor's degree from a recognized university, majoring in finance, economics, accounting, business management or related fields is preferred; those with CFA, CFP, CHFP or FChFP professional qualifications will be given priority.
At least one year of experience as a financial advisor or customer service representative at a bank, insurance company, securities firm or wealth management institution, familiar with local market operations and regulatory requirements.
Have excellent communication skills and empathy, be able to clearly explain complex financial concepts and build long-term trust relationships; fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English at the basic level of communication.
Integrity and stability, self-discipline and responsibility, and emphasis on compliance and moral integrity can lead to strict adherence to the Code of Ethics and internal risk control policies of the company.
