Job Description
Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for daily kitchen operations, including ingredient preparation, cooking, and dish presentation, ensuring food quality and hygiene standards meet requirements.
  • Accurately prepare Chinese and Western hot food, cold dishes, pastries or special dishes according to the menu and customer needs, paying attention to taste, plating and timeliness.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to complete pre-opening preparation, support during business hours, and post-closing cleaning and organization, maintaining a clean and orderly work area and properly maintaining equipment.
  • Comply with food safety regulations and local food industry rules, implement basic food hygiene operations such as separation of raw and cooked foods, temperature control, and labeling of shelf life.
  • Cooperate with the supervisor's arrangements, participate in menu testing, cost control and energy conservation and waste reduction, etc. internal improvement work, improve overall operating efficiency and service quality.

Work requirements

  • Able to handle common ingredients (such as seafood, poultry, vegetables) independently, including cutting, marinating, cooking, and controlling the heat, as well as basic knife skills and sauce preparation.
  • Have good communication skills and team spirit, be able to adapt to a high-paced, multi-tasking business environment, and respect local culture and workplace rules.
  • No need to have local certification qualifications, but you must be willing to accept on-the-job training and follow the kitchen rules, safety guidelines, and disciplinary requirements set by your employer.
