Job Description

Job Responsibilities

Responsible for communication network failure pre-processing and preliminary diagnosis, including monitoring alarms, log analysis and common problem screening, to improve fault handling efficiency and response speed.
Instantly respond to internal and external customer fault reports, coordinate technical resources for problem location and notification, and ensure that the mean time to recovery (MTTR) meets the SLA requirement.
Coordinate the upgrade of suppliers' complaint process, follow up on problem assignment, progress tracking and closed-loop feedback, and maintain the professionalism and cohesiveness of cross-departmental and third-party cooperation relationships.
Implement the special tasks assigned by the team leader, including data sorting, maintenance report compilation, process optimization suggestions submission, and cross-functional support work.

Work requirements

Solid understanding of SDH/OTN, DWDM, VPLS, MPLS, etc., core transmission and IP bearer network technology principles, familiar with undersea optical cable system network architecture and maintenance characteristics.
Have the on-site configuration, monitoring and daily management skills of mainstream network devices such as SDH/OTN equipment, Ethernet switches and IP routers.
Proficient in operating common test instruments such as optical power meters, OTDRs, error rate meters, and protocol analyzers, and able to independently complete end-to-end link fault diagnosis and performance validation.
Have fluent Cantonese, Mandarin and English listening, speaking, reading and writing abilities, and be able to accurately understand technical documents, write English emails and participate in cross-language technical collaboration.

5 days on, 1 day off, consisting of 5 nights, 5 evenings, and 5 mornings, followed by a 3-day break
