Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in the daily operation of Chinese and Western restaurants, responsible for the cleaning, cutting and preliminary processing of ingredients
  • Participate in the preparation and cooking of dishes according to standard procedures, and support the chef or independently complete designated dishes during busy periods
  • Keep the kitchen environment clean and hygienic, follow the rules to carry out cleaning procedures, including cleaning equipment and work areas
  • Assist in managing food inventory, regularly inventory stock, ensure materials are properly stored and avoid waste
  • Comply with shift and rest arrangements, and flexibly adjust working hours according to restaurant operating needs

Work requirements

  • Have secondary five education or above, hold a valid health certificate and good personal hygiene habits
  • Need basic Chinese and Western cuisine kitchen work experience, familiar with common cooking methods and tool use
  • Responsibility, proactive work attitude, ability to work independently or in a team
  • Fluent in Cantonese communication, basic Mandarin ability, and able to understand simple English instructions
