Relationship Manager, Retail Banking - Up to 80K Welcome Insurance Broker

Job Title: Relationship Manager, Retail Banking – Customer Manager (monthly salary up to HKD 80K)

Job Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain long-term stable cooperative relations with existing customers, deeply understand their financial goals, risk preferences and family planning, and provide personalized financial advice

• Proactively seek out high-potential new customers, expand the wealth management business through referrals, community activities, digital channels, and branch collaboration

• According to customer needs, professional recommendations of suitable bank products and services, including deposits, loans, foreign exchange, insurance, funds, structured investment products and cross-border wealth management (Wealth Management Connect)

• Collaborate with financial planning managers, insurance consultants, credit specialists and cross-border service teams to provide customers with a one-stop financial solution

• Strictly comply with the compliance requirements of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA), the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) and the Insurance Authority (IA), and ensure that all sales processes comply with the Code of Conduct and internal policies

• Regularly update customer files and investment portfolio analysis, complete sales records, risk assessments, and anti-money laundering (AML) reporting on time

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree from a recognized university, majoring in finance, business, economics, accounting or related sciences is preferred

• Must have valid Hong Kong Securities and Investment Institute (HKSI) Certificate I (Basic Securities), Certificate VII (Non-Listed Investments) and Certificate VIII (Linked Investment Insurance); and must hold a license for Insurance Intermediary Qualification Examination (IIQE) Certificate I (Insurance Principles and Practice), Certificate II (General Insurance) and Certificate III (Life Insurance)

• One to three years of front-line customer service experience in a bank or financial institution, with experience as a retail bank customer manager, financial advisor or insurance broker will be given priority

• Fluent in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin for oral communication and written composition, and confident in handling cross-cultural customer interactions

• Customer-centric, with sharp empathy and insight into customer needs; proactive and positive personality, good at building trust, handling objections, and driving sales results

• Have excellent interpersonal networks and influence, be able to collaborate efficiently with colleagues from different departments, and accept continuous learning and professional development

Benefits:

• Basic monthly salary HKD $35,000–$80,000 (depending on experience and ability), with high performance bonuses and quarterly bonuses
