Assistant Safety Manager (Client-side) - Operations/ FM/ repairs & maintenance

MNC client looking for an Assistant Manager - Safety (Operations) to oversee the safety matters of existing properties of the Group in HK.

About this role

• Establish and maintain the Company Safety Management System in compliance with Government Regulations;

• Manage & provide advice on safety-related issues to enhance the safety of operations ;

• Enhance the workplace awareness in safety matters, and conduct safety training;

• Preparing comprehensive work records, monthly safety reports, and advice on all site safety issues for management reporting;

• Liaise with different stakeholders on safety & health matters;

• Manage the safety performance of contractors;

• Explore and develop innovative safety devices, safety construction methods and technologies to enhance construction safety.

Ideally, you will possess the following:

• Degree in Safety Management / Occupational Health & Safety, or equivalent;

• 10-15 years of relevant safety experience, ideally with management experience;

• Registered Safety Officer under Labour Department;

• Sound knowledge in occupational health & safety regulations and practices in Hong Kong;

• Experience in Facilities Management/ Properties Management/ Repairs & Maintenance projects is an advantage;

• Proficient in both written & spoken English & Cantonese is a must;

• Candidates with less experience will also be considered as SSO.
