Assistant Engineer, Cloud Infrastructure

Department: Network Resources & Facility Management

In this position, you will:

• Work with company Cloud & NFV platforms with ongoing technology update
• Perform company cloud systems and network analysis, testing, planning, design, implementation, monitoring, capacity management, security operations, trouble-shooting and documentation
• Perform prompt remedy actions, track and update progress from various parties to ensure problems been solved with minimum service impact
• Provide technical support and guidance to end users
• Work with cross functional teams across the company to enable cloud native application development and deployment automation

To be successful in this position, you should meet the following requirements:

• Academic Qualification:Degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Information Engineering or related discipline.
• Working Experience:1-2 years or above hands-on experience in Cloud Infrastructure.
• Skill & Personal Attributes:

1. Good Knowledge of openstack & NFV cloud platforms
2. Knowledge of Virtualization technologies (VMware/KVM) /Networking (SDN, switch, router and firewall configuration) / Cloud Security are highly preferred
3. Knowledge of PaaS, Container, Dockers, Kubernetes, etc
4. Experience in DevOps, CI/CD
5. Programming/scripting and automation tools development experience will be an advantage
6. Willing to discover the latest technologies and techniques in cloud services development
7. Creative, flexible and self-initiative
8. Working experience in Telecom industry will be an advantage.
9. Good presentation and documentation skills in Chinese &English.
