Position Overview
The Marketing Director will lead the strategy, development, and execution of integrated marketing initiatives that drive audience growth, ticket sales, brand visibility, and tourism engagement. This role oversees all marketing functions across digital, traditional, partnership, sponsorship, and experiential channels.
You will guide a cross-functional team covering marketing strategy, campaign management, digital media, brand development, PR, sponsorship, and customer engagement. A deep understanding of the entertainment, live events, attractions, and tourism ecosystem is essential.
Key Responsibilities
1. Marketing Strategy & Leadership
Develop and lead the overall marketing strategy across entertainment properties, live shows, attractions, and tourism-related products.
Drive long-term brand positioning, storytelling, and market differentiation.
Oversee annual marketing planning, forecasting, and budget allocation.
Lead and mentor a high-performance marketing team.
2. Digital & Performance Marketing
Oversee digital media strategy including paid social, search, display, video, retargeting, CRM, and content marketing.
Drive data-informed decision-making through analytics, audience insights, and performance dashboards.
Optimize digital funnels to increase conversions, ticket sales, and visitor engagement.
3. Brand & Creative Development
Manage the development of creative assets, brand campaigns, and promotional materials.
Ensure consistent brand identity across all properties and channels.
Oversee content strategy including storytelling, video production, and creative partnerships.
4. Tourism & Partnership Marketing
Build and manage strategic partnerships with tourism boards, travel agencies, hotels, OTAs, airlines, destination marketing organizations, and cultural institutions.
Develop co-branded campaigns that drive visitor traffic and international audience reach.
Represent the company in tourism and entertainment industry platforms and associations.
5. Product Marketing & Launches
Lead go-to-market strategies for new shows, tours, attractions, and seasonal events.
Manage pricing strategies, promotional calendars, and product positioning.

Oversee media relations, PR strategy, influencer partnerships, and crisis communications.
Develop compelling press materials and ensure strong visibility in local, regional, and international media.
8. Market Insights & Business Intelligence
Conduct market research, audience segmentation, and competitor analysis.
Identify new business opportunities, new audience groups, and emerging tourism trends.
Provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
9. Financial & Operational Management
Manage multi-million-dollar marketing budgets with strong ROI discipline.
Track performance metrics, prepare executive reports, and lead post-campaign evaluations.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Communications, Tourism, or related field; MBA preferred.
8+ years of senior marketing experience, with significant leadership responsibility.
Proven success in entertainment, live events, tourism, attractions, or hospitality.
Strong track record in digital and performance marketing.
Experience managing agencies, creative teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
Excellent communication, leadership, and presentation skills.
Highly analytical with strong commercial acumen.
Preferred Skills
Experience with ticketing ecosystems, CRM, and audience data platforms.
Understanding of tourism partnerships (e.g., TTAs, wholesalers, DMOs, OTAs).
Multi-market or regional APAC experience (ideal for Hong Kong/Singapore roles).
Fluency in multiple languages is an asset; Chinese, Cantonese, English
