Technical Consultant (Network & Security)

Responsibilities:

• Assist with Sales team from a technical standpoint

• Engage with customers and partners, capturing requirements, proposing technical solutions, and overseeing the selection of technologies/products

• Translate defined requirements, proposed solutions, and value proposition into proposals/Statement of Work (SOW).

Requirement:

• A degree or diploma holder in Computer Science, Engineering and Information Systems or related, with a focus or major in IT security will be highly desirable

• 5 years of hands-on experience inIT network & security with at least 2 years in technical solutions and presales.

• Experience in working in a customer-facing role and comfortable presenting to a small-medium audience on both technical and business-related topics.

• Strong knowledge of network switches and routers include creating VLANs, managing VTP domains, spanning tree, DHCP spoofing, ARP spoofing, and port security

• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and other technology protocols

• Practical knowledge of the following technologies: Routing, Switching, VPN, LAN, WAN, Network Security, Firewalls, NGFW, NAT, IPS, AntiMalware, Botnet, Application Control, DDoS, Web Filtering

• CCNA / CCNP preferred

• Strong networking and security troubleshooting

• Excellent communication skills and strong teamwork skills

• Other network & securitycertificationis a plus
