Hong Kong supermarket business general manager

Job Responsibilities

• Completely responsible for the overall business planning, operations management and continuous expansion of more than 50 supermarkets in the Hong Kong region, formulate and implement a medium and long-term development strategy, and enhance market share and brand influence.

• Lead key product categories (especially fresh and frozen) global procurement strategy, establish a stable and efficient international supply chain network, ensure product quality, freshness, cost-effectiveness and compliance.

• Coordinate the daily operations of all Hong Kong stores, covering standardized store execution, sales performance monitoring, inventory turnover optimization, store visual image management, and customer service experience improvement.

• Build and lead a high-performance retail management team, responsible for the selection, cultivation, evaluation and motivation of core talents, and promote organizational capability building and cross-departmental collaborative efficiency.

• Closely track Hong Kong local consumption trends, competitive dynamics and regulatory changes, combine data analysis and market insights, and drive continuous innovation and iteration of product structure, pricing strategy and marketing activities.

Work requirements

• With outstanding business thinking and strategic implementation ability, I can independently lead the integration and transformation of complex business modules, and achieve a balance between profit growth, cost control, and scale expansion.

• Have mature global procurement business experience, familiar with international trade procedures, origin development, import quarantine regulations and fresh logistics temperature control standards, and effectively manage overseas supplier relationships.

• Proficient in Cantonese, Mandarin and English, able to communicate and negotiate fluently at a high level across cultures; with excellent team leadership, decision-making and crisis management skills.
