Job Description / The Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive trade follow-up specialist to support our Hong Kong physical trade team's global operations. You will be responsible for ensuring that metal mineral import and export contracts from signing to payment are smoothly executed.
We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Trade Operations Specialist to support our physical trading desk in Hong Kong. You will ensure smooth execution of international metal trades from contract to payment.
●Full process follow-up on metal mineral products (such as molybdenum concentrate) import and export contracts.
Manage end-to-end execution of import/export contracts for metal ores and products.
●Independent production, review and processing of a full set of Chinese and English trade and shipping documents (contract, invoice, packing list, bill of lading, certificate of origin, insurance policy, quality inspection report, etc.).
Independently prepare, check, and handle all shipping and trade documents in English and Chinese.
●Coordinate with internal and external parties, including suppliers, customers, freight forwarders, shipping companies and agents, to ensure accurate and compliant ship dates and documents.
Liaise with internal and external parties to ensure timely shipment, accurate documentation, and compliance.
●Track goods dynamics, insurance, customs clearance and payment status, and proactively handle abnormal situations.
Track cargo movement, insurance, customs clearance, and payment status, resolving issues proactively.
Assist in LC examination, document presentation, and customer credit processes.
●Establish and maintain a systematic archive of all trade documents.

Requirements / Who You Are:
● International trade, business management, supply chain or related professional bachelor's degree or above.
Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
● At least 2 years of trade follow-up and practical experience, with preference for commodities or metals industry.
At least 2 years of hands-on trade operations experience, preferably in commodities or metals.
● Proficient in the production and review of bilingual trade documents in Chinese and English, familiar with the Interpretation of Trade Terms 2020 and the Uniform Customs and Practice for Documentary Credits.
Expertise in preparing and checking bilingual trade documents, with knowledge of Incoterms 2020 & UCP600.
● Familiar with Hong Kong/Chinese customs clearance, inspection and foreign exchange management practices.
Familiarity with HK/China customs procedures and foreign exchange regulations is preferred.
● Excellent organizational, communication and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to efficiently handle multiple tasks.

●English and Mandarin fluency (writing and speaking), Cantonese is preferred.
