Job Description

Job Responsibilities

Responsible for daily site engineering management and coordination work, including construction progress monitoring, process scheduling and on-site technical guidance;
Review construction drawings, technical specifications and contractor-submitted construction plans to ensure compliance with design requirements and relevant statutory standards;
Inspect construction site safety and construction quality, identify potential risks and promote immediate improvement measures, and implement occupational safety and health responsibilities;
Maintain effective communication with architects, consulting companies, contractors and government departments, handle on-site technical inquiries, change instructions and acceptance matters;
Prepare and update engineering record files, including meeting minutes, inspection reports, completion documents and related submission files, to ensure complete and compliant archives.

Work requirements

Holding a bachelor's degree in civil engineering, architectural engineering or related engineering sciences from a recognized university or post-secondary institution;
Have a Hong Kong Electrical and Mechanical Services Department (EMSD) or the Housing Department recognized registered professional qualification (such as: registered engineer / registered inspector), or currently applying and have sufficient practical experience;
Have at least 3 years of local site engineering management experience, familiar with the Hong Kong Building Ordinance, Factory and Industrial Undertaking Ordinance and relevant construction specifications;
Have good on-site judgment and problem-solving skills, be able to handle sudden engineering situations and cross-departmental collaboration matters independently;
Proficient in Microsoft Office and common engineering software (such as AutoCAD, MS Project, etc.), with basic Cantonese and English communication skills, and able to write clear and professional technical documents.
