Relations Manager

The ideal candidate will be an expert navigator of the local media landscape, capable of building trust-based relationships that are critical for driving strategic narratives.</p><p></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Act as a key company spokesperson and foster long-term, strategic partnerships with journalists, editors, KOLs and producers across Hong Kong's top-tier media.</li><li>Handle media enquiries, interviews and issues management, not limited to message development, media handling, and internal and external stakeholders’ liaison.</li><li>Work with different parties to develop and implement various publicity campaigns and events of different scale and nature.</li><li>Provide strategic counsel and media relations support for product launches and corporate announcements.</li><li>Lead the development and execution of robust issues management and crisis communication protocols.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications & Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Native-level fluency in Cantonese and full professional proficiency in English and Mandarin are essential.</li><li>A minimum of 5 years of direct experience engaging with Hong Kong's media landscape, with a verifiable track record of working with leading local outlets.</li><li>An extensive, active, and effective network of contacts within Hong Kong's mainstream media is the paramount requirement for this role.</li><li>Demonstrable expertise in issues management and crisis communications, with the ability to perform under pressure.</li><li>A deep understanding of the local social, cultural, and business environment is critical for success.</li><li>A proactive, results-driven, and strategic thinker with exceptional interpersonal skills.</li></ul>
