Air conditioning maintenance (foreign labor)

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for the daily maintenance, repair and fault diagnosis of air conditioning systems in commercial buildings, residential properties and industrial premises (including split-type, multi-type, air-cooled/water-cooled central air conditioning systems, etc.).
• Execute installation, dismantling, relocation and system upgrade tasks according to engineering instructions, ensuring compliance with the relevant laws and safety standards of the Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Department.
• Regularly inspect air conditioning equipment operation status, record operating parameters, submit maintenance reports and suggest improvement schemes.
• Assist in handling emergency maintenance cases, respond and complete emergency repairs within the specified time limit to ensure that customer operations are not affected.
• Properly manage and count personal tools, test instruments, and replacement parts, and coordinate with warehouse and material requisition processes.

Work requirements

• Holding a registration qualification (R1/R2/R3) recognized by the Hong Kong Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Department, or equivalent overseas qualifications that have been locally recognized.
• Able to independently read English technical documents, circuit diagrams and equipment operation manuals, with basic written and oral communication skills.
• Good physical condition, able to adapt to high-altitude work (using aluminum ladders, suspended baskets or elevating platforms), confined spaces and outdoor high-temperature environments, and accept shift work and sudden attendance arrangements.
