Project Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced project manager to lead and manage a large-scale model application development project. As the project manager, you will be responsible for full process management from project initiation to delivery, ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget, and of high quality. You will work closely with a cross-functional team, including data scientists, engineers, product teams, and business stakeholders, to drive the project forward smoothly and ensure the successful deployment of the large-scale model application.

Main responsibilities

1. Project planning and management

• Develop a detailed project plan, including project scope, schedule, milestones, and resource allocation.

• Ensure project goals align with company strategy, coordinate resources to support project needs.

• Manage project budget, monitor costs and ensure project completion within budget.

• Regularly update project progress reports and report project status to management and stakeholders.

2. Team collaboration and communication

• Form and lead a cross-functional project team, including data scientists, development engineers, testers, and business analysts.

• Host project meetings and ensure team members understand goals, tasks, and responsibilities.

• Coordinate internal and cross-departmental communication within the team, resolve conflicts and problems, and ensure information transparency and efficient communication.

3. Risk and quality management

• Identify and evaluate project risks, develop risk response strategies and track risk status.

• Ensure that the project meets quality standards, and supervise quality control and testing activities during development.

• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to optimize the performance and stability of large model applications.

4. Stakeholder Management

• Working closely with business departments and customers to ensure projects meet business requirements and user expectations.

• Manage customer relationships, respond promptly to customer feedback and adjust project plans.

5. Project delivery and post-project support

• Ensure project delivery on time, complete acceptance and deployment work.

• Coordinate the follow-up support and maintenance work of the project, ensure the continuous and stable operation of the application.

Job Requirements

1. Educational background

• Bachelor's degree or above, Computer Science, Information Technology, Project Management or related fields.

• Preference will be given to those with PMP, Prince2 or other project management certifications.

2. Work experience

• 5 years of project management experience, with at least 2 years involving artificial intelligence, big data or software development projects.

• Familiar with the large model application development process, including data processing, model training, application integration and deployment.

3. Skill requirements

• Proficient in project management tools and methods, such as agile development, Scrum or Kanban.

• Have good communication skills, be able to effectively communicate with technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.

• Familiar with artificial intelligence technology, understand the basic principles and application scenarios of large models.

• Have strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, and be able to drive project progress in a complex environment.

4. Personal qualities

• Have good team spirit and leadership skills, able to motivate team members to achieve goals.
