Accountant

Location: Hong Kong

Job Type: Full-time/ Monday to Friday (9am-6pm)

Expected Salary: 20K+ HKD (negotiable)

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our meat importing company. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial reporting, tax compliance, and cost analysis, with knowledge of import regulations and logistics-related accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements related to meat imports and trade

• Handle tax computations, including import duties and tariffs, ensuring compliance

• Manage budgeting and financial forecasting for inventory and supply chain costs

• Conduct bank reconciliations and review transactions for import-related expenses

• Assist in audits, ensuring proper documentation for imported goods and costs

• Analyze cost structures, pricing strategies, and profit margins within the industry

• Implement and improve accounting procedures for logistics and supplier payments.

• Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field

  • HKID holder

  • CPA qualification (preferred)

  • 1+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in import/export or food industry

  • Strong understanding of Hong Kong tax laws, import tariffs, and financial regulations

  • Familiarity with inventory accounting, cost analysis, and supplier payments

  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or SAP

  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Fluent in English and Cantonese/Mandarin
