Job Description

Job description of the role:

· Strategic & market expansion

o Develop and execute the 12–24-month oversea markets growth plan aligned with Group strategy, with specific market-entry and commercialization steps for recruitment services and digital products (AI interviewing, shared database).

o Identify and validate new service lines, partnerships and channel models (enterprise accounts, retail/office channels, exhibitions/events, cross-border talent services).

· P&L, operations & go-to-market

o Own oversea markets P&L: revenue, margin, budgeting, cash flow and KPIs; deliver agreed growth and profitability targets.

o Launch and scale productized services (e.g., Duomian AI interviewing, Duolie co-sharing) for local employers and HR buyers; manage pricing, promotions and channel deployment.

o Drive omnichannel business development — enterprise sales, partner/distributor relationships, retail or physical touchpoints (if applicable), and event/exhibition programs.

· Product lifecycle & commercialization

o Coordinate product localization, pilot launches and full rollouts with Group product, tech and operations teams.

o Oversee product-to-market lifecycle: requirements gathering, local IP or content partnerships, supply/implementation partners, and post-launch optimization.

· Team leadership & structure

o Build, mentor and lead a cross-functional Hong Kong leadership team (sales, account management, product liaison, operations, compliance).

o Design scalable processes, KPIs/OKRs, CRM/ATS adoption and performance management frameworks.

· Stakeholder management & compliance

o Act as the primary local liaison with mainland partners and Hong Kong regulators; ensure compliance with employment agency license, data privacy and local labor rules.

o Represent LEAPIN at industry events, government talent programs and strategic partnership meetings.

· Market insight & brand

o Provide regular market intelligence and competitive analysis to inform product roadmap and commercial strategy.

o Build LEAPIN’s local brand through partnerships, events, and targeted campaigns.

Candidate profile — required

· 10+ years’ experience operating in senior leadership or country/region head roles; demonstrable track record of setting up and scaling cross-border businesses, market entries and retail/channel launches.

· Strong P&L ownership and experience managing budgets, margins and multi-country operations.

· Hands-on experience with product commercialization, channel expansion, and coordinating with product/tech teams to localize digital tools.

· Proven ability to build local teams and to manage external partners (distributors, service providers, franchisees).

· Comfortable operating at the intersection of product, commercial and operations — able to take ownership from strategic planning to execution.

· Excellent communication skills; fluent English. Additional languages (Spanish, Italian, Mandarin) are advantageous for regional partnerships and reflect strong cross-cultural experience.

· Experience working with Mainland Chinese partners is a plus.

· Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics or related field; advanced degree or relevant executive management training preferred.
