Job Description

Senior Exchange Developer (Orderbook / Margin / Perps)
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Exchange Developer with hands-on experience building and maintaining high-performance orderbooks for centralized cryptocurrency exchanges. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of margin products, derivatives (futures/perps), and the technical nuances required to ensure ultra-low latency and high throughput.
Key Responsibilities:
Orderbook Architecture & Development Design and implement next-generation orderbook matching engine components to handle very high TPS (transactions per second).
Build robust order matching logic with millisecond (or microsecond) latency, ensuring real-time updates and fault tolerance.
Optimize data structures for efficient insertions, deletions, and lookups (e.g., tree-based or heap-based order management).
Margin & Perpetual Products Integrate advanced margin frameworks, including cross-margin and isolated-margin mechanisms, ensuring accurate real-time calculations.
Develop settlement logic for perpetual/future contracts, including funding rate calculations, mark price logic, and liquidation triggers.
Ensure margin/derivative modules meet reliability, consistency, and performance requirements in production environments.
Exchange Infrastructure & Scaling Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to deploy and scale matching engine services in a microservices or containerized environment.
Implement monitoring and alerting systems that can detect abnormal behavior or latency spikes in real time.
Continuously optimize system throughput and minimize latency using advanced caching, concurrency, and data sharding techniques.
Risk & Security Implement robust risk checks (pre-trade, post-trade) to prevent erroneous or out-of-bound orders from impacting the system.
Contribute to security best practices, including secure coding, encryption, and safeguarding of private keys and sensitive data.
