Senior Oracle EBS Engineer | Public Organization | 50k to 70K

<p><strong>DNA Recruit Partners is now partnering with a global IT Solutions firm; they are seeking an experienced Senior Oracle EBS Engineer who has strong hands-on experience with ERP implementations, particularly in Oracle Inventory (mandatory) / Purchasing and Supply Chain or Financials modules, including General Ledger.</strong></p><p></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Create and manage work assignments and schedules for the programming team to achieve project milestones, influencing the overall project timeline.</p></li><li><p>Evaluate business requirements and produce functional and system design specifications for quality assurance, ensuring compliance with technical and architectural standards.</p></li><li><p>Develop system prototypes for proof-of-concept as needed, validating functional requirements to confirm that the system aligns with business and technical goals.</p></li><li><p>Mentor and guide junior developers in coding, integrated system testing, and regression testing to ensure the final product is of high quality and reliability.</p></li><li><p>Prepare the system for production deployment by designing installation packages and validation procedures for a smooth rollout.</p></li><li><p>Establish and maintain a comprehensive library of system documentation to support ongoing maintenance and program efficiency.</p></li><li><p>Oversee and delegate tasks to junior programmers and contractors, fostering a productive team environment.</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with vendors and users to ensure seamless integration of satellite systems with the Budgeting System.</p></li><li><p>Support the execution of testing, mock activities, cutover processes, and change management initiatives.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li><p>At least 5 years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 1 year in a supervisory role, with experience in large-scale Oracle EBS implementations.</p></li><li><p>Strong hands-on experience with ERP implementations, particularly in Oracle Inventory (mandatory) and either Purchasing and Supply Chain or Financials modules, including General Ledger.</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>In-depth technical knowledge in application design and development of custom extensions, conversions, and interfaces within an Oracle R12 EBS environment.</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with the Excel4apps reporting tool is a plus.</p></li><li><p>Knowledge and experience with Oracle EPM Cloud is advantageous.</p></li><li><p>Highly motivated, a strong team player, and possesses excellent analytical skills with the ability to work independently.</p></li><li><p>Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).</p></li></ul>
