Job Responsibilities
- Assist the chef in preparing ingredients, including washing, cutting, marinating and sorting various vegetables, meats and seafood for cooking.
- Responsible for the daily cleaning and organization of the back kitchen area, including work counters, cutting boards, knives, stoves, and floor sanitation, to ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene requirements.
- Follow kitchen instructions to complete basic cooking procedures, such as boiling noodles, steaming rice, frying semi-finished products, simmering soup bases, and preparing sauces, etc., and strictly abide by standard operating procedures.
- Manage food inventory, assist in receiving goods, verify delivery documents, classify and store refrigerated and dry goods, and regularly check expiration dates and storage conditions to avoid waste and spoilage.
- Support the team during peak business hours to assist with the serving process, including plating, preparation, and passing dishes to the serving area, while maintaining high efficiency, accuracy, and low error rate through collaborative performance.
Work requirements
- Aged 16 or above, no need for relevant academic qualifications or certificates, those with no experience are welcome to apply; the company provides on-the-job training and basic culinary guidance.
- Pay attention to personal hygiene and neatness, and must hold a valid Food Handler Certificate before employment (which can be obtained within one month after employment, and the company will provide registration assistance).
- No bad record, punctual and reliable, able to cooperate with shift arrangements (including lunch, dinner, holidays and sudden overtime needs).
