Executive chef (Taiwanese cuisine)

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall operation of the kitchen, with rich experience in stir-frying and chopping, and able to handle various cooking processes independently

• Proficient in the operation process and technical standards of various stalls such as chopping geese, noodle stalls, frying stalls, and soup stalls

• Coordinate daily operations of the store, including kitchen and floor coordination, to ensure service quality and meal efficiency

• Supervise food procurement, storage and use, control costs and maintain food safety and hygiene standards

• Guide and train kitchen and floor employees, enhance team professional ability and work efficiency

Work requirements

• Have expertise in Taiwanese cuisine, relevant kitchen work experience, and familiarity with traditional Taiwanese flavors

• Having kitchen management experience, able to effectively lead the team and handle on-site emergencies

• Need to understand the comprehensive management of the store operation, including kitchen scheduling and floor service coordination

• Language ability: Able to communicate fluently in Cantonese, with basic Mandarin reading and writing abilities

• Only Hong Kong permanent residents are eligible to apply, and they must comply with the shift system. The working hours of the restaurant are from 10:00 to 22:00, and the actual shift can be discussed.

Benefits

• Monthly salary between HKD 30,000 and 35,000, depending on experience and ability
