Responsibilities:

• Oversee the treasury operations (cash flow management, liquidity forecasting, payment process).

• Lead external audit and commission/profit tax reporting; act as key liaison with auditors and regulators.

• Prepare and review monthly management accounts, consolidated financial statements, and group reporting packs.

• Perform financial planning (i.e. budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis).

• Ensure timely and accurate submission of Financial Resources Rules (FRR) returns and other SFC regulatory reports.

• Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, controls, and systems

• Participate in finance system implementation/upgrade projects.

• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

Professional Experience

• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in finance/accounting/treasury, with at least 1 year in a supervisor capacity;

• Prior experience in SFC-licensed corporations (brokerage, asset management) (Type 1/4/9 activities), insurance brokerage and financial services sector are strongly preferred;

• Solid exposure to full sets of accounts, consolidation, management reporting, budgeting, and FRR reporting;

• Proven track record in finance system implementation or migration projects;

Technical & Regulatory Skills

• Degree holder or above in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines;

• Qualified accountant (HKICPA, ACCA, CPA Australia, etc.) is an advantage;

• In-depth knowledge of HKFRS/IFRS and Hong Kong regulatory requirements (i.e IA and SFC);

• Advanced Microsoft Office application.
