Responsibilities:
Oversee the treasury operations (cash flow management, liquidity forecasting, payment process).
Lead external audit and commission/profit tax reporting; act as key liaison with auditors and regulators.
Prepare and review monthly management accounts, consolidated financial statements, and group reporting packs.
Perform financial planning (i.e. budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis).
Ensure timely and accurate submission of Financial Resources Rules (FRR) returns and other SFC regulatory reports.
Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, controls, and systems
Participate in finance system implementation/upgrade projects.
Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
Professional Experience
Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in finance/accounting/treasury, with at least 1 year in a supervisor capacity;
Prior experience in SFC-licensed corporations (brokerage, asset management) (Type 1/4/9 activities), insurance brokerage and financial services sector are strongly preferred;
Solid exposure to full sets of accounts, consolidation, management reporting, budgeting, and FRR reporting;
Proven track record in finance system implementation or migration projects;
Technical & Regulatory Skills
Degree holder or above in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines;
Qualified accountant (HKICPA, ACCA, CPA Australia, etc.) is an advantage;
In-depth knowledge of HKFRS/IFRS and Hong Kong regulatory requirements (i.e IA and SFC);
Advanced Microsoft Office application.
