Job Description
<p>Job Summary:</p><p></p><p>our client is looking for a skilled and experienced Localization Product Manager to lead their efforts in localizing HCM(Human Capital Management) products for APJ markets. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of HCM products and the unique HR regulatory requirements of these regions. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, sales, and customer support, to ensure our HCM products are effectively localized and meet the high standards of our customers in these regions.</p><p></p><p>Key Responsibilities:</p><p>Market Insights and Business Analysis:</p><p>Conduct thorough market research and business analysis specific to HCM in APJ.</p><p>Analyze the competitive landscape and regulatory environment to identify opportunities and challenges for product localization.</p><p></p><p>Product Localization and Planning:</p><p>Define localization requirements for HCM, ensuring alignment with regional regulations and customer expectations.</p><p>Develop and execute a localization strategy and roadmap for HCM tailored to APJ markets.</p><p>Monitor regulatory requirement changes in APJ with inputs from Field organization. Ensure timely adaptation of regulatory changes into our product offerings.</p><p></p><p>Collaboration and Coordination:</p><p>Work closely with engineering teams to ensure localization requirements are integrated into the product development process.</p><p>Coordinate with local teams to gather insights and feedback for continuous improvement of localized products.</p><p></p><p>Product Lifecycle Management:</p><p>Oversee the lifecycle of the localized HCM products, including product launch, pricing, updates, and phase-outs.</p><p>Ensure timely delivery and high quality of localized products, managing localization scopes and timelines.</p><p></p><p>Business Support:</p><p></p><p>Assist in developing localized marketing strategies and pre-sales solutions.</p><p>Engage with key customers and stakeholders in the region to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.</p><p>Support sales and customer support teams with training and materials specific to localized products.</p><p></p><p>Qualifications:</p><p></p><p>Education:</p><p>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, HR, Computer Science, or a related field.</p><p></p><p>Experience:</p><p></p><p>At least 5 years of experience in product management, consulting, or a similar role working on HCM products such as SAP (incl. SuccessFactors), Workday, Oracle, Microsoft, etc.</p><p>Familiar with hire-to-retire end to end process, and key componenets as core HR, payroll, recruiting, onboarding, talent development, reporting, etc.</p><p>Solid understanding of regulatory requirements (labour law, social insurance, payroll tax, ) for at least 2 countries / regions in APJ.</p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p>Skills:</p><p></p><p>Proficient in Mandarin and English is mandatory. Cantonese speaking is an advantage.</p><p>Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.</p><p>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</p><p>Good project management and organizational skills.</p><p></p><p>Preferred:</p><p></p><p>Experience working with cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams.</p><p>Familiarity with HCM technologies and software development processes.</p><p>Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.</p>
