Job Title: Junior Mechanical Technician

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a equipment management plan, responsible for daily maintenance, fault detection and repair, etc. maintenance work, ensure the safe, stable and efficient operation of production equipment;

• Participate in equipment supplier evaluation and management, and co-ordinate to drive the equipment procurement process;

• Responsible for the installation, commissioning and acceptance of newly purchased or updated equipment, strictly implementing safety standards and operating procedures;

• According to business development and equipment actual situation, assist in planning and promoting equipment upgrade and update schemes;

• Regularly monitor and analyze equipment operating data, summarize operating conditions, and propose specific and feasible optimization and improvement suggestions;

• Support the compilation department or project-related technical specifications, standard operating procedures (SOP) and operation instructions, ensure that equipment configuration and functions meet technical and application requirements;

• Continuously monitor equipment safety and environmental compliance, proactively identify risks and push for improvement measures, and ensure a safe and compliant working environment.

Work requirements

• Bachelor's degree (or above) in automation, mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering or tobacco-related fields is required; fresh graduates are welcome to apply;

• Have basic equipment management knowledge, understand preventive maintenance (PM), fault repair (CM) and spare parts management, etc. common processes;

• Have good communication and coordination skills and team spirit, be able to effectively collaborate with colleagues from different departments and suppliers;

• Emphasize safety and compliance, have risk awareness and basic judgment and decision-making abilities;

• Have basic data analysis skills, be able to use Excel or other commonly used tools to organize and analyze equipment operating data;

• Able to speak fluent Cantonese, with basic English and Mandarin reading and communication skills;

• Holding a Hong Kong permanent resident identity, or meeting the requirements of the "High-end Talent Pass Program (TTPS)"、「Outstanding Talent/Professional Program (QMAS)"、「Non-local Graduates Stay/Return to Hong Kong Employment Arrangement (IANG)"、「Dependent visa" or other valid Hong Kong work permit.
