Key Responsibilities

1. Manage money market fund portfolios, execute investment strategies for short-term rates, high-grade commercial papers, CDs, etc., ensuring liquidity and yield targets.

2. Monitor global central bank policies, money market rate fluctuations, and credit risks; dynamically adjust duration and holdings.

3. Lead daily liquidity management, including large redemption forecasting, overnight repo arrangements, and contingency funding.

4. Ensure compliance with SFC Code on Unit Trusts and Mutual Funds & UCITS regulations; submit trading records/risk reports to compliance.

5. Coordinate DVP settlement with custodians and counterparties to optimize capital efficiency.

6. Conduct roadshows and client briefings.

7. Support new product launches and regulatory filings.

Requirements

1. Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field; CFA/FRM preferred.

2. 5+ years of proven experience managing public money market funds or cash management products, with auditable track record (e.g., NAV history, Sharpe ratio).

3. Expertise in Hong Kong and global regulatory frameworks (SFC, HKMA, IOSCO), UCITS IV/V compliance.

4. Proficient in Bloomberg, Refinitiv; programming skills (VBA/Python) are a plus.

5. Fluent in English and Cantonese; skilled in professional English reporting and central bank/IB negotiation.

Job Responsibilities

1. Responsible for the investment portfolio management of money market funds, formulating and implementing investment strategies for short-term interest rate bonds, high-rated commercial paper, deposit certificates, etc. in the money market, and ensuring that the fund's liquidity and yield targets are achieved.

2. Monitor global major central bank policies, currency market interest rate fluctuations and credit risks, dynamically adjust duration and holding structure.

3. Lead daily liquidity management of the fund, including large-scale redemption of funds, overnight repurchase agreements and emergency reserve fund deployment.

4. Ensure investment operations comply with the SFC's Unit Trust and Mutual Fund Code and UCITS regulatory requirements, and regularly submit transaction records and risk reports to the compliance department.

5. Coordinate with custodian banks and counterparty to streamline DVP (Delivery Versus Payment) settlement process, optimizing cash usage efficiency.

6. Participate in roadshows and institutional investor investment strategy seminars.

7. Support new product design, promote system testing and regulatory submission.

Job Requirements

1. Financial, economic, accounting and other related professional master's degree or above, those who hold CFA, FRM certificates are preferred.

2. 5 years of experience in managing public money market funds or cash management products, need to provide verifiable public historical performance.

3. Proficient in the Hong Kong and international monetary market supervision and regulation framework (such as SFC, HKMA, IOSCO standards), familiar with UCITS IV/V compliance requirements.

4. Proficient in using Bloomberg terminals (Bloomberg), Refinitiv, etc. to analyze market data, those with VBA/Python programming skills are preferred.

5. Fluent English and Cantonese, able to write professional English investment reports, and have negotiation skills to communicate with central banks and international investment banks.
