Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for the preparation of Cantonese-style dishes, including dim sum, stir-fries, roasted meats, soups, and banquet dishes, etc., strictly following standard recipes and product specifications to ensure authentic flavor and stable quality;
- Participate in daily food acceptance, storage and pre-processing, rationally control raw material use, reduce waste, and cooperate with kitchen material management processes;
- Timely complete the opening preparation, business support and closing cleaning, maintain the kitchen clean and orderly, and comply with the relevant operating guidelines of the Food Safety and Health Bureau;
- Comply with Hong Kong's Employment Ordinance and Immigration Department's work regulations for foreign employees, hold a valid work visa and fulfill your responsibilities according to your contract, and respect local workplace culture and team collaboration requirements.
Work requirements
- Have at least three years of regular Cantonese restaurant or hotel Chinese cuisine kitchen practical work experience, familiar with traditional Cantonese cooking techniques (such as wok-fired stir-fries, steaming and stewing, and dim sum making) and common food characteristics;
- Familiar with the Hong Kong Food Safety Ordinance, the Food and Drugs (Composition and Labelling) Regulations, and the kitchen "Five-step Disinfection Method" and other hygiene operation standards, and able to independently carry out cleaning and disinfection procedures;
- Have good time management skills and stress resistance, be able to adapt to a high-pace operating environment, and maintain stable output and service levels during peak hours of lunch, dinner and holidays;
