Job Description
Job Responsibilities
Work requirements
- Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements (such as balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements), ensure data accuracy, timeliness and compliance with the Hong Kong Companies Act and Hong Kong Financial Reporting Standards (HKFRS);
- Responsible for tax compliance management, including income tax, salary tax, stamp duty, etc. Application and payment, coordinate and communicate with the tax authority, and properly handle audits and tax inquiries;
- Optimize financial processes and internal control systems, promote the effective application of financial systems (such as SAP, Oracle or local commonly used accounting software), improve financial operating efficiency and information transparency.
Work requirements
- Holding a membership of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA), or possessing international recognized accounting professional qualifications such as ACCA/CPA (Australia/US), and continuously meeting the requirements of continuous professional development (CPD);
- Have at least 5 years of financial management experience in Hong Kong local enterprises, of which no less than 2 years are as financial manager or equivalent level, familiar with cross-departmental collaboration and team management;
- Proficient in Hong Kong tax laws, company law and financial reporting standards, with the ability to handle independently the financial compliance affairs of listed companies or medium-sized and large enterprises;
- Have excellent communication and coordination skills, a high sense of responsibility and professional ethics, and the ability to withstand business peak pressure to drive financial strategies to the ground with a results-oriented approach.
