Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

Regulatory compliance execution, internal control process design, risk assessment, compliance review and reporting, employee compliance training

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for supervising and enforcing various financial regulatory laws and compliance policies, ensuring that the company's business operations continue to meet the latest requirements of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA), the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) and other relevant regulatory bodies.

  • Lead the design, optimization and maintenance of internal risk management and compliance control processes, covering business entry, transaction monitoring, customer due diligence (CDD/EDD), anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorism financing (CFT) etc. key links.

  • Regularly conduct a comprehensive risk assessment, identify, analyze and quantify operational, legal, reputational and strategic compliance risks, and propose specific risk mitigation measures and improvement suggestions.

  • Review new products, new services, major contracts and business solutions for compliance, compile compliance opinions and risk reports, and submit quarterly compliance status reports to senior management and the compliance committee on time.

  • Plan and implement a full compliance training program, tailor-made training content for different functional groups, and enhance employees’ awareness and practical skills of compliance obligations, moral standards, and the consequences of violations.

Requirements:

  • Familiar with the Hong Kong local financial supervision and regulation framework, those with practical operation experience are preferred, including the Securities and Futures Ordinance, the Money Laundering Prevention Ordinance, the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, etc. core regulations.

  • Have good risk identification and logical analysis skills, be able to independently write clear, rigorous and executable compliance documents and risk reports.

  • Proficient in Cantonese, with fluent writing and oral expression abilities; those who understand Mandarin and English will be given priority.

  • Have cross-department collaboration experience, be able to effectively communicate and coordinate with legal, operations, IT and business units to drive compliance requirements to be implemented.
