Fashion Designer

*Swimming wear or Underwear

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for full range of product design including concepts, trend research, product development, collection design, 2D & 3D garment sampling, and prints design

• Work with customers’ design teams and internal merchandising teams to understand style and collection requirements (e.g. tech pack, mood boards) and translate such requirements into manufacturable designs

• Deliver design presentations to customers’ design teams

• Actively track and follow up on samples & new design projects from ideation to pre-production

• Research and analyse market trends and commercial needs

• Conduct ongoing research and continuously keep abreast of latest 3D design tools and techniques

• Perform any duties and support other ad-hoc projects as per assigned by the superior

Requirements:

• Graduate of accredited institution in Digital Fashion or Fashion Design

• With minimum 3 years of relevant experience

• Fresh graduates & less experience are welcome and will be considered for the Assistant Fashion Designer position

• Swimwear or sportswear design experience is highly preferred

• Knowledge in raw material sourcing, styling, prints design, and graphic development in both 2D and 3D

• Good command of Illustrator, Photoshop, and 3D virtual apparel software (e.g. CLO, Browzwear, Optitex)

• Self-motivated & able to meet tight deadlines

• Creative and able to work independently with strong fashion sense

• Presentable, energetic, and willing to learn

• Good command of both spoken and written English, Cantonese, and Mandarin

• Station in HK; occasionally travel to China factory for sample development and overseas for customer design presentations & market research
