Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

Handling import and export documents, customs clearance, delivery follow-up, and customer contact

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for handling import and export-related documents, including commercial invoices, packing lists, origin certificates and bills of lading, etc., ensuring that the information is accurate and meets the requirements of various countries' customs and trade regulations.

  • Coordinate customs clearance procedures, communicate with licensed customs brokers and customs departments, follow up on clearance progress, and promptly resolve application abnormalities or inspection issues.

  • Coordinate delivery arrangements, including warehouse booking, transportation scheduling, tracking logistics status, and updating internal systems and notifying customers after goods leave port/arrive at port.

  • As a liaison window, regularly communicate with overseas customers and suppliers, reply to inquiries, confirm order details, coordinate delivery dates and payment terms, and maintain good business relationships.


Requirements:

  • Have basic English reading and writing abilities, be able to handle English trade documents and email exchanges independently; Cantonese is the daily communication language, Mandarin is an added bonus.

  • Familiar with Hong Kong's import and export procedures and the basic norms of the World Trade Organization (WTO), familiar with HS coding, trade terms (such as FOB, CIF) and common payment methods (T/T, L/C) are preferred.

  • Have good attention to detail and sense of responsibility, be able to handle multiple tasks at the same time, and maintain high efficiency and accuracy at key points such as customs clearance and delivery.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook), with ERP system (such as SAP, Oracle) or electronic customs clearance platform (such as HKTDC e-Export) experience, is preferred.

  • No need to specify academic qualifications or industry experience, fresh graduates and career changers are welcome to apply; must hold a valid Hong Kong work permit (such as High Talent Pass, Outstanding Talent Pass, IANG, Dependent visa, etc.).
