This role is to formulate buying strategy and budget proposals. Manage sales margin, production, inventory control and costs so as to ensure the agreed financial targets are achieved.
Responsibilities:
Ensure buying accuracy regarding category percentage, style selection & color ratio, and assortment plan by shop class.
Work closely with the Design team to formulate the seasonal product line which aligns with the customer profile.
Assist in retail price planning, cost comparison, and re-order management.
Attend sales review meetings and work closely with the Retail Operation team to develop appropriate action plans
Assess product performance by reviewing the Weekly Sales Report and take appropriate actions for individual SKU weekly.
Work out the weekly projection of the buy plan for the collection based on the sales budget.
Ensure the discount plan meets the company requirements on the overall discount rate, gross profit, and sales target.
Explore potential products through market research and data analysis.
Requirements:
University graduate in Fashion Retailing or other related disciplines
Experience in buying areas, preferable from Fashion Retail Buying industry, would be an advantage
Strong analytical skills and numerical sense
Strongbusiness mindset, analytical sense, and presentation skills
Well organized, attention to detail, and proactive
Proficiency in MS Excel (e.g. Pivot & Vlookup)
Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese is a must)
