Responsible Officer (Insurance broker)

<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Handle license applications and renewals with the Insurance Authority (IA).</li><li>Ensure brokerage operations comply with applicable laws and regulations.</li><li>Develop and enforce risk management and compliance policies.</li><li>Collaborate with departments to ensure seamless business operations.</li><li>Identify and pursue business opportunities, including marketing initiatives and product launches.</li><li>Evaluate and enhance business practices, products, and services.</li><li>Update policies and procedures to align with regulatory requirements.</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree or higher in finance, business, or law.</li><li>5-10 years of insurance industry experience, including at least 2 years in a management role.</li><li>Meet the Insurance Authority’s "fit and proper" criteria.</li><li>Possess relevant insurance licenses, including those for long-term insurance business.</li><li>Strong business insight and strategic thinking, with a thorough understanding of regulatory impacts on commercial operations.</li><li>Proven ability to balance business goals with compliance, delivering innovative and commercially viable solutions.</li><li>Exceptional analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.</li><li>Fluency in written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.</li></ul>
