Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for daily operations on the restaurant floor, including customer reception, seating and table arrangements, to ensure customers have a smooth and comfortable dining experience.
- Execute pre-meal preparation work: clean and arrange tables, chairs, bars and public areas, replenish tableware, paper towels, condiments and other consumables.
- Assist in the dining process: work closely with the kitchen, accurately send orders, check dishes, arrange plates, and deliver them to the designated table.
- Operate the point-of-sale system to complete ordering, payment, invoice issuance, and cash/electronic payment processing.
- Support simple order management: Receive and input customer orders through a tablet or POS system, and assist with telephone or delivery platform order confirmation and follow-up if necessary.
Work requirements
- Aged 16 or above, no need for relevant experience, students and newcomers are welcome to apply; with basic communication skills, able to clearly communicate with colleagues and customers in Cantonese.
- Handy and fastidious, able to keep the floor clean and orderly, and maintain sauce display, tableware placement, and sanitation standards.
- Have basic mathematical skills, be able to correctly calculate change, handle discounts and promotions, and follow cash management and cashier safety procedures.
