Senior Sourcing Manager - EMS (Based in Vietnam)

<p>Our client is a leading EMS company with factories in China and SE Asia. Due to expansion, they are looking for a Senior Sourcing Manager to be based in Vietnam.</p><p></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><ul><li><p>Lead team to source and purchase Mechanical components, metal, packaging in local Vietnam market </p></li><li><p>Purchasing of electronic parts in China</p></li><li><p>Develop and execute effective supply chain strategy and drive for cost savings to meet business growth;</p></li><li><p>Work closely with Production Materials Control (PMC) and Project team to meet customer delivery requests;</p></li><li><p>Maintain strategic relationship with suppliers. Monitor and evaluate their performance in terms of reliability, products quality, on-time delivery and technology etc;</p></li><li><p>Lead the team to achieve targets results in respect of project engineering, sourcing, supplier selection and certification, procurement and supplier performance management;</p></li><li><p>Vendor Managed Inventory implementation.</p></li></ul><p></p><p>Requirements:</p><ul><li><p>Bachelor's Degree holder</p></li><li><p>Minimum 10 years of experience in Sourcing and Purchasing from the EMS industry with at least 5 years in the managerial capacity</p></li><li><p>Sound knowledge in component and product with proven record in handling electronics OEM/ODM projects;</p></li><li><p>Excellent communication, negotiations and people management skills.</p></li><li><p>Entrepreneurial, analytical with good problem solving skills</p></li><li><p>Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese</p></li><li><p>This position requires long station in Vietnam</p></li></ul>
