Audit accounting

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for executing annual financial audits, including internal control evaluation, substantive testing, and audit working paper preparation, to ensure full compliance with the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA) published audit standards (HKSA) and related professional requirements

• Handle daily financial and accounting affairs, covering account reconciliation, monthly and annual closing operations, financial statement preparation (including income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement) and management report analysis, supporting decision-making and business improvement

• Proficient in operating the XERO cloud accounting system, executing account setup, transaction posting, bank reconciliation, accounts receivable and payable management, and effectively using the tax module to complete pre-filing preparation

• Collaborative team provides financial compliance support to customers, including income tax declaration document sorting, audit opinion communication, management advice letter writing, and follow-up implementation

• Participate in on-site audit work according to the length of the week, mainly at the firewood office (near the second building of Jin Hao Industrial Building, Keng Pai Bay Street) to carry out tasks, and flexibly adjust according to the actual needs of the customer

Work requirements

• Having 3 to 5 years of full-time audit or financial accounting work experience, those who have served small and medium-sized enterprise customers are preferred; those who can independently undertake medium-complexity audit projects, with good time management and multi-task coordination skills

• Proficient in XERO accounting software operations, with system setup, multi-company account management experience, and able to integrate third-party tools (such as bank interfaces, electronic invoice platforms) to improve operating efficiency

• Fluent Cantonese as the main working language; Have good English reading and writing abilities, be able to accurately understand the original text of the audit standards, write professional English reports; Mandarin reaches the basic level of communication

• Bachelor's degree, majoring in accounting, finance or related business fields; office work mode, daily working hours from 9 am to 5:30 pm, with a two-week cycle of long and short weeks (five days a week and six days a week), Monday to Saturday as working days
