Data Centre Fire Protection Engineer

<p><strong>Position Responsibilities:</strong></p><ol><li>Oversee the implementation and centralised management of fire safety operations across overseas Asia-Pacific data centres (including Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Vietnam, the Philippines, and other regions);</li><li>Lead immediate response, coordination, and resolution of fire incidents at data centres, ensuring efficient communication with internal teams, emergency services, and stakeholders to minimise operational disruption and safeguard personnel and infrastructure;</li><li>Conduct comprehensive fire risk assessments of data centre facilities, identify critical hazards, develop optimised risk control solutions (e.g., fire systems, evacuation procedures), and drive systematic improvements to the fire management system;</li><li>Conduct regular inspections of fire safety installations (e.g., sprinkler systems, alarm devices, fire extinguishers), identify deficiencies, and oversee responsible parties in implementing corrective measures to ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements;</li><li>Design, create, and refine fire safety procedure documentation to enhance the robustness and compliance of the data centre's fire management system;</li><li>Establish cross-functional collaboration mechanisms to deeply integrate fire safety requirements into daily operations. Foster a safety culture across organisational levels through targeted training, safety awareness campaigns, and feedback mechanisms, ensuring standardised implementation.</li></ol><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum 3 years' experience in fire engineering or fire systems-related roles;</li><li>Comprehensive understanding of international fire regulations, standards, and compliance requirements (e.g., NFPA, ISO 45001, local fire legislation);</li><li>Practical experience in fire incident emergency response;</li><li>Excellent communication and coordination skills, demonstrating initiative and accountability with strong teamwork ethos;</li></ul>
