Quality Assurance Technician - Leading Food Manufacturer (14k up x 13)

Our client is the leading food manufacturer in Hong Kong.They are now expanding the team and looking for an QA Technician to join for merchant acquisition.

Job Description:

• Conduct routine quality control tests and line inspections for raw materials, in-process control, and finished products.

• Responsible for consolidating raw data generated from tests and inspections.

• Assist in preparing equipment setups for calibration and conducting data collection.

• Perform tasks related to the storage and identification of samples generated during routine production and at various manufacturing stages, including control samples.

• Carry out general housekeeping duties, such as cleaning glassware and facilities used for microbiological testing.

• Collaborate closely with the immediate supervisor and production staff during audits of external OEM suppliers/factories and internal audits.

• Execute any additional duties assigned by the immediate supervisor while adhering to laboratory safety practices.

Requirements:

• Tertiary education or higher in Food Science or related fields but not a must.

• Hands-on experience with basic laboratory testing skills, gained through previous roles or academic training, is preferred.

• Proficient in MS Office applications.

• Strong command of both spoken and written English and Chinese.

• Accountable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn, with strong interpersonal skills.

• Knowledge of FSSC, EMS, and HACCP standards is a plus.
