Senior Product Engineering Manager

Job Responsibilities

• Manage a 5-person engineering team responsible for lock product development

• Coordinate new product development or modify product concepts

• Develop detailed project plans, monitor and track progress

• Establish and maintain project files, manage project scope/time schedule changes and impact analysis

• Contact the overseas product manager and Chinese suppliers of the German headquarters to handle technical issues and product design

• Monitor and ensure that products comply with the regulations of the European Union, the United States, etc. market

• Quickly respond to quality/technical issues, conduct root cause analysis and implement improvement measures

Work requirements

• Holding a mechanical engineering or related bachelor’s degree

• Must be proficient in SolidWorks or ProE, with proficiency in both being ideal

• Familiar with the characteristics and applications of commonly used manufacturing materials (steel, zinc alloy, plastic)

• In-depth understanding of EU product regulations (REACH SVHC, Phthalates, RoHS, PAHs) and related industry standards

• Able to be based in China (Guangdong), with self-motivation

• Applicants with project management practical experience are preferred

• Have the ability to obtain suitable products at competitive prices

• Fluent English and Mandarin speaking, good Chinese and English writing skills

• Able to communicate and cooperate with people from different cultural backgrounds
