Job Description

Our Banking client is looking for a Maker role to join the Treasures Team to assist on cross-border account opening.

Job responsibilities:

- Process account opening applications for Treasures accounts, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

- Verify and check all submitted documents for accuracy, completeness, and authenticity.

- Handle offshore account opening requests and ensure proper documentation and adherence to international banking standards.

- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve discrepancies or missing information in account applications.

- Maintain accurate records of account opening activities and ensure timely updates in the system.

- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries related to account opening processes.

- Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in account opening operations.

- Ensure strict adherence to anti-money laundering (AML) and know-your-customer (KYC) regulations.

Job requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in account opening or related banking operations, preferably in offshore accounts.

- knowledge of AML, KYC, and regulatory compliance requirements.

- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies in documentation.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with clients and internal teams.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

- Fluency in Cantonese; proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage.
