Mechanical Engineer

1. Under the guidance of senior engineers, be responsible for structural design, 3D modeling, engineering drawing, and BOM preparation for partial modules.

2. Conduct structural improvement and cost optimization for existing products based on market feedback, test reports, and production feedback. Implement design changes (ECR/ECN) and track the whole process from implementation to mass production.

3. Assist in solving structure-related issues during pilot production, mass production, and after-sales service; conduct root cause analysis and provide effective solutions. Cooperate with production and quality departments to analyze and resolve assembly and process-related technical problems.

4. Participate in prototype assembly, debugging, and Design Verification (DV) testing. Review and optimize the design based on test results to ensure the structure meets reliability requirements such as strength, durability, waterproofing, and dustproofing.

5. Be responsible for the design of inspection and testing fixtures for preliminary design.

6. Collaborate and communicate across departments.

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Design, Mechanical Engineering, Material Forming, or related fields.

2. Around 3 years of experience in mechanical structure design; experience in robotics, home appliances, or medical device projects is preferred.

3. Proficient in mainstream 3D design software; able to independently design complex surfaces and components. Skilled in geometric tolerances and dimensioning, able to produce standardized and clear engineering drawings.

4. Familiar with properties and applications of common engineering plastics and metal materials. Understand design guidelines and limitations of common processes such as injection molding, die-casting, and sheet metal fabrication.

5. Experienced in structural simulation and able to optimize designs based on simulation results.

6. Responsible, proactive in resolving bottlenecks during R&D to mass production; identify with the company and its products.
